King's Daughters
To be able to honor God in the beauty of holiness as we worship in a beautifully well-maintained edifice.
The congregation of the Honolulu Central Seventh-Day Adventist Church has worshiped at the current site since December 1976, a period of just over 35 years. Time, the elements, and constant use have taken their toll on the structure and furnishings so that a major upgrade is now required. All of that will require major funding.
One of the major purposes of the King’s Daughters ministry is to be an instrument in the hands of the Lord to keep the sanctuary and its furnishings in good repair and beautiful as a place where all may enjoy a worshipful atmosphere to honor God.
There is also a need to build a workshop and a large space for storage.
During the last half of 2011, a Farmer’s Market venture was in progress and garnered a goodly sum. Several key factors have necessitated closure, but it is a viable venture and if some of the snags can be rectified, reopening the market will be a source of funds to keep our edifice and its surroundings beautifully well maintained. Any and all assistance will be graciously accepted.
God doesn’t need our things. But he ordains our work and endows us with creativity and talent. He designed us to be busy about doing business for Him and making all kinds of things that reflect His regenerating graces that may glorify Him. In what beautiful enterprise might God be directing you to be involved in? It could be people or projects; aptitude or arts. You may have the ability of creating something that reveal some of His greatness. Let’s do a great and wonderful work for Him!
